Fuck This Party
Fuck This Party is a student party at the UvA founded by current and former student council members to ridicule the ineffective systems of academic democracy permeated throughout the Netherlands since a 1997 change in Dutch law stripping the University Council of its real powers. Fuck This Party says, we are fed up with hopelessly believing in change while operating under a farse of democracy: Fuck This. We can ridicule the system, because it is ridiculous. We are a party operating under the unwavering and indomitable belief that the Academy, in all of its many flaws, is entirely irresistible to change. We do not know why we exist, nor do we feel a need to justify it, we simply do. Fuck This.
